So there is literally hundreds and hundreds of structural engineering jobs out there right now. The only problem though, they ALL require 3-5 years experience. How exactly are we supposed to have this experience, when there are almost no graduate positions available. Ugh.
Getting slightly worried about my career.
So I was thinking that some time ago I used to write somewhat of a journal online somewhere, and I want to start doing that again. We’ll see how long that lasts.
Today I woke up nice and early (something highly unusual) to ride into the city with a mate. It’s a really nice track leading into the city, you ride along this little stream, darting in and out of these little foresty areas. Once you’re near the city the trail joins onto the Yarra, so its quite the nice scenery into the CBD. We normally stop at this skate park to buy drinks, and judge all the little kids there skating haha. I don’t know why, but no matter the time of day there are always school kids there… The guy who works there actually remembered us from when we used to go there early in the year, which was a nice surprise. Sadly the trip home has no big hills so no adrenalin highs today hehe!
Later at work me and my mates were discussing the latest GoT episode, and somehow started talking about spoilers we had heard, mostly about characters dying. One of them said how a character he really likes dies at a certain event in the series, and sadly I had read that spoiler too. So we were talking about that without using their name so as to not spoil it for the others. It soon became apparent though, that I was talking about a SHE and he was talking about a HE. Oh dear. We inadvertently just told each other about another characters death. So two characters die at that point, and its pretty obvious who the other would be. That increases the death tally to 6 characters I know about. Sighhhhhhhhhh!
